Adding Events to Timeline via Slack

Install our Slack Integration and use within an Incident channel. See the Quick Start Guide for how to configure the Slack integration.

To add an event to a timeline using the Slack interface, just type:

/rootly timeline <event>

Or by clicking the hamburger icon on any message in the incident channel:

Or simply by using a Pin emoji ( you can configure any emoji of your choice in our settings ):
