Learn how you add users, create overrides on a schedule, and pause a schedule.
If you have not yet created a schedule, get started with with our Create a Schedule instructions.
Schedule Changes
- Any changes made to a schedule (including adding and removing users) won't affect the historical record of that schedule
- Changes will only apply to future dates and times.
Required User Permissions
Users with the following on-call roles can create, edit, and delete on-call schedules:
- Admin
- User
- Navigate to On-Call --> On-Call Schedule --> or On-Call --> On-Call Schedule --> On-Call Schedule Edit page.
- Select the User from which you would like to reassign or revert the override shift.
- Shifts that are overrides will have an 'Override' tag on them
- Select the override shift you would like to Revert to the original assignee.
- Click 'Revert to original' to assign the shift back to the original user.




Note: Reverting an override can also be done from the On-Call Shifts page.
- Select the override shift you would like to the Reassign Override.
- Select the User who will be assigned the override.
- Click 'Create Override' to apply changes.

In order to pause a Schedule, you will need to select the Escalation Policy from which the Schedule will be removed:
- Navigate to On-Call --> Escalation Policies
- Select the Escalation Policy from which you would like to remove the schedule.
- Click 'Edit Escalation Policy'
- Remove the User, Team or Channel under 'Who do we notify?'
- Click 'Save Escalation Policy' to apply changes
