Sync Schedules To Slack User Group

Overview

Syncing an on-call schedule with a slack user group allows teams to streamline communication, enhances coordination, and improve the overall efficiency of incident response. The new sync schedule to Slack group feature will automatically update who is in that user group with whoever is on call for the schedule. Taking the manual toil out!



Set Up Steps

  1. Select an existing schedule or create a new schedule that you would like to add the slack user group too.
  2. Edit the schedule

  3. Under the General tab, select the desired Slack user group from the dropdown menu

  4. Save schedule

IMPORTANT NOTE: This will replace whoever is in that Slack user group with who is on call for that schedule
