Creating Sub-Incident

Overview
For larger incidents or incidents that may span ownership across multiple teams, you may want to split an incident into sub-incidents. Multiple sub-incidents can be created off of a single parent incident.


Restrictions
- Sub-incident is the most granular form of incidents, so it cannot be split further
- There must be a parent incident to split the sub-incident from. Sub-incidents cannot exist on their own.

Configuring Workflows
As with parent incidents, automated tasks can also be ran based on sub-incident conditions. To do so, simply configure your workflows to run when kind = Sub Incident.
